Overall I’m fairly happy with the product, it kept my hair soft throughout the day and held up pretty well. It kind of just started to fall flat and lose volume, however it still maintained its textured appearance.
My hair was still manageable and pliable, but it didn’t have that initial ‘soft-hold’. Well after about 8 hours of wear, I noticed the products original great attributes diminish a bit. Also worth noting, this product didn’t mush my hair together, rather it kept my hair styles original textured look. While the product helped a bit more with how I wanted my hair to look, it really took away from that natural/soft feeling … not terrible, but something to note. I thought I needed a bit more product on the rear of my head, so I took about half a dime size and threw it on. After a few tries of doing some crazy hair doos, I gave up on attempting to use this for anything aside from the textured-semiflat look. I was able to get that freshly towel dried hair look and style my hair as I wanted it. However, after a minute or two of styling and teasing, it became much better and I became happy with the results. After throwing it in my hair, and styling as I went I wasn’t very impressed. After rubbing it in my hands for about 5 seconds it softened up considerably more. The product feels a bit to silky to be considered a putty, more of a quasi putty-cream.
I really didn’t know what to expect as I took a ‘dime-size’ finger full, and rubbed it in my palms. But hey, there is no standard protocol on how much needs to be packaged … if the product is really good I think I can surpass my initial shock.

You would think for such a tiny container they would fill it up almost the full inch, but surprise – imagine a new bag of chips filled up only 1/2 the way. The amount of product in the container left much to be desired. The smell was actually refreshing no crazy pheromone scent or ridiculous stink like some CREW products, almost a high end salon smell. There are two things I instantly noticed when I opened the product: 1. As I said before the container is no frills basically all white with a clear twist off cap. For about $4.00 I figure I’d give it a shot. But hey, I’m not a sucker for gimmicks and bright colors, some of the best stuff I’ve used has been under a dollar. The product seemed a bit hidden on the shelf, as it had no real branding, or crazy 80’s colors … just a simple, circular-white container about 1″ tall with 1.7oz of product. I’ve been in a kind of natural-but-stylish look mood over the past month, so I’ve found myself using more pomades, pastes, and putties. The selection at this particular Publix was pretty sparse, so I grabbed a few items. when I figured it was time to go grab some products to replace my recent loss. Well fast forward four days later, I found myself at Publix grabbing a sub (mmm sub). As I had to wake up for work in about 10 hours, I had no time to run out and grab some products. On my way back from a long weekend in the Poconos, where for some crazy reason I decided to get my amazing hair cut, my hair products were confiscated at the airport.
